The 25 year old attacking midfielder joined Newcastle last summer from PSV and went on to score 11 goals in 38 appearances for the club although this was not enough to prevent the Magpies from relegating.
Whether Rafael Benitez will want to let go of his prized star as Newcastle look to return to the Premier league ASAP is the million dollar question.
