Oil prices steady increase

Oil prices have jumped to an all year high with Brent Crude selling for $41.49 per barrel while Light Crude currently sells for $40.34 per barrel.

This will come as a huge relief to the various oil companies across the world who have had to suspend ongoing projects and adopt strict cost cutting measures to remain in business.

This new trend should also reduce the risk of staff layoff that has been hanging over the companies since the drop in global prices.

American student sentenced in North Korea

The American student Otto Warmbier (21 years) who was detained by the North Korea government over the hostile act of trying to remove a political banner from an hotel has been sentenced to 15 years of hard labour. An official in the government stated that he might spend that time planting apple trees.

CNN reports the the trial lasted reportedly a hour. The North Korean government accused the CIA, a secretive university organization and even a church member in Ohio, the student's home church of putting the student up to the crime.

Warmbier had traveled to Pyongyang on a trip organized by Young Pioneer Tours, a China-based travel company. He was arrested on January 2, 2016 as he was about to board a plane to leave the country.

The United States government has however condemned the sentencing and had urged the North Korean government to pardon him and grand him immediate release on humanitarian grounds.

But, we must make it one way or the other right? So what can you do to help yourself?

1. Get a Masters degree immediately. As long as you are eligible, get your masters degree immediately preferably outside the country but still a local masters degree is still acceptable.
2. Get professional certifications related firstly to cost (money handling) then your professional fields. The more you get, the more your chances are.
3. Don't let it weigh you down. The moment you begin to look down on yourself because you made a 2 2, then you wont really be optimistic about the future. That is a killer.
4. Write a compact CV. Get professional help if you can't.  A well written CV could be the gateway to that dream job of yours.
5. Trust in God. You need Him more than ever. Many people have gotten jobs their mates who made better degrees weren't able to by His Grace.
6. ATTEND MEETINGS AND GATHERINGS RELATED TO YOUR FIELD. MAKE CONTACTS & FRIENDSHIPS ANYWHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF. LET PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT, WALK UP TO MANAGERS AND ASK FOR THEIR CONTACTS.

I as well as many of the guys in my neighborhood are soccer lovers. I am proud to say i am addicted to soccer. I play mostly soccer games and try never to miss a match. Soccer is fun, soccer is life, soccer is emotion, soccer is stress relieving.

BUT

Of recent, this issue of soccer prediction (betting) has really driven me to the edge and its an issue we need to address. I once witnessed a man who took all his monthly earnings and placed it on a club who lost woefully. 
End result: All his monthly labor was a waste and one big boss at the top just got richer.

I am also into it, i have indulged once in a while and i have won big too.

Close call for Manchester United as holders Arsenal and hopefuls Chelsea all exit.


Emirates FA Cup holders Arsenal and hopefuls Chelsea were both dumped out of the competition by Watford and Everton respectively. Odion Ighalo steered home a deflected effort past Cech before
Guedioura slammed home a spectacular effort. Another late Danny Welbeck goal wasn't enough to put the Gunners back in the tie despite several chances coming their way.



Chelsea coming on the back of a champions league exit to PSG had it all to prove as this was their last chance of silverware for the season but they were forced to defend continuously against a strong Everton side with Romelu Lukaku causing the defense problems all through the game. The tie got broken at the 77th minute by this same player who also broke the offside trap five minutes late to put the game to bed.


Manchester United facing off with a WestHam side that is actually two points ahead on the EPL table were forced to defend for most of the game but held on till the 68th minute where a sumptuous free kick from man-of-the-moment Dimitri Payet put Westham in the lead. the Hammers couldn't hold on though as a late Martial effort leveled the tie. Manchester United could have gone ahead but no penalty was given when the ball was handled in the area. The game stayed level at full time to set up a replay as Manchester United are now favorites to win the cup.
