Imperious England

Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy lead England comeback

Toni Kroos and Mario Gomez  had given Germany the lead in a fiery contested match

at the Olympiastadion Berlin but a great individual effort from Harry Kane, a sublime flick by Jamie Vardy from Nathaniel Clyne's cross and a towering Eric Dier header from a Jordan Henderson's corner turned the game around to give England a well deserved win against the Germans.

Calls have been made to reevaluate if Wayne Rooney should still get a shirt in the upcoming Euros, we'll have to wait on Roy and see how this turns out.

Its' a good night to be English!!!

SO funny.

Portugal stunned

Portugal 0:1 Bulgaria. Marcelinho strike stuns wasteful Portuguese.

A 19th minute strike from  Marcelinho was all Bulgaria to record their first back to back wins since 2013. The Bulgarian midfielder poked home his debut goal after some hesitant defending from the Portuguese.

Portugal had numerous chances to get back into the game but goalkeeper Vladislav Stoyanov      frustrated them all day long.

A second half penalty was awarded to Portugal after Nikolay Bodurov had handled the ball in the box but Vladislav produced his best save of the night to deny Ronaldo.

Portugal generally controlled possession and had numerous chances but just couldn't apply the final decisive touch.

Nani had a very good chance to level matters late on the game but blasted high six yards away from goal.
