Barcelona are arguably the greatest team of the decade, in the year 2006, they won the Champions League with Brazilian winger Ronaldinho at the heart of the team's success.
With the flashy Brazilian's disciplinary problems and acute drop of form in successive seasons, many predicted the end of Barcelona as a force in Europe.
But just then Lionel Messi stepped up and continued where 'dinho left off, taking the world by storm. With Pep Guardiola guiding the young magician and his partners-in-crime, Andres Iniesta and Xavi pulling the strings, once again Barcelona dominated Europe even winning a crazy six out of six trophies including a treble.

Apart from Jose Mourinho 2012 La Liga winning heroics and Simeone's Atletico soldiers literally bulldozing their way to the title in 2014, Barcelona have always recorded success on the domestic league stage.
Following the team's poor performances at club football's biggest stage, Barcelona decided the time was just right to spend all the cash they have been making and they did just that, bringing in Luis Suarez and Neymar to form the famed MSN.
Don't get it twisted, with a front line like that, opposing teams literally turn to dust and that was evident as Barcelona won 5 out of 6 trophies (another treble) losing out in the Super Cup final to Sevilla (well, combine good football with a little jazz, you know).
Sadly the next season, due to the various exertions of trying to beat all comers, the stellar line up lost some of their shine and couldn't live up to expectations (which was to be the first team to defend the Champions League successfully) as they lost out to Atletico Madrid in the quarter finals.
Well, Jose Enrique this season has left no stone unturned in strengthening the team across all areas, Samuel Umtiti, Andre Gomez, Denis Suarez among others bringing in a mix of youth, hunger and raw talent and equally the form showed by Arda Turan of late has really given the team much needed depth despite their failings in signing a back up striker.
With a reinvigorated Neymar expected back after his Olympics heroics and with Suarez and Messi still banging in goals with the ease on display in their opening La Liga game against Real Betis, it is clear that once again Barcelona are set to take the world by storm and really lets be frank, they have all they need to deliver their third treble in 7 years.
