Former Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini who made way for Pep Guardiola last season has been appointed as the head coach of Chinese Super League team Hebei China Fortune.
The club announced their new manager via their social media accounts making Pellegrini the latest big name to make the move to China.
Hebei Fortune will be Pellegrini's thirteenth club as head coach in a coaching career that stretches back as far as 1988 with the only club he represented as a footballer, Universidad de Chile.
Pellegrino have gone on to coach Real Madrid, San Lorenzo, Malaga and most recently Manchester City. He has also won league titles in four different countries and has a respectable record in the Champions League reaching the latter stages with all the teams he has coached.
Hebei's leadership will be hoping the Chilean will put his wealth of experience to good use to change their fortunes in the Chinese Super League as they lie fifth with 15 points from 23 games.
