Has Brendan Rodgers thrown in the towel?

With just hours left before Scottish giants Celtic face off with Barcelona in their first Group game, manager Brendan Rodgers has praised the focal point of their attack Luis Suarez calling him a beautiful man and the best striker in the world.

Rodgers while being interviewed in a press conference said;
"To stop him is very, very difficult, like all world-class players that you face, they always find the space.
"You can have all the tactical ideas, you can set up systems, you can park two double-decker buses in front of the goal, I think that some of the best players in the world will always find space.
"What you have to try to do is negate that and be as aggressive as you can in order to stop him - and that's something that we will try to do." Yeah, good luck with that, Brendan.

Rodgers and Suarez worked together at Liverpool with the Uruguayan striker thriving scoring a total of 54 goals under him. They also went close to being crowned league champions in 2014 before they got swept aside by a combination of bad luck, sorry mistakes and Chilean jazz, losing the league to Pellegrini's Manchester City.

As he rightly stated, the Northern Irish coach will need to stop the experienced striker as well as his partners in crime if he plans to take any point from Camp Nou.
