QPR signs French striker

Queens Park Rangers has signed French forward Yeni Ngbakoto on a three year deal for an undisclosed fee.




Yeni Ngbakoto started out with SCC Besancon where he spent 6 years. His impressive performances brought about a move to the youth academy of FC Metz in 2007.


The winger who can play as a striker then went on to make over 200 appearances for the club scoring over 50 goals across 9 seasons in Ligue 2 with his club.


During this time, the player attracted interest from top English clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Barcelona.


Yeni is also a France international having made over 40 appearances for the U-17 & U-18 sides scoring 10 goals but have been repeatedly overlooked for the senior team.




The player expressed his delight at finally playing in England believing the time was just right for a move.




QPR boss Jimmy Floyd has revealed his delight at his new signing and expects the club fans to love the new man.
