Liverpool FC today announced the signing of Newcastle United midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum on a five year contract.
The former PSV player has joined the Reds in a deal worth 25 million Euros and becomes the sixth signing of the club this summer.
Wijnaldum who scored 11 goals in 38 appearances last season for now-relegated Newcastle United will wear the no. 5 shirt at Liverpool next season.
The new Red stated that it is a pleasure and a great delight playing for the club and he is looking forward to learning from Jurgen Klopp.
