At the end of last season, one of the hottest strikers in the world was definitely Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
After a return of over 30 goals last season for Dortmund, the media touted him to be the next mega signing of a mega club with emphasis laid on Real Madrid.
Fast forward months later, none of the mega clubs seem interested in the 27 year old forward.
Manchester United decided to sign Mkhitaryan instead, Juventus just signed Gonzalo Higuain for a record fee, preferred employers Real Madrid decided to exercise their buy back clause on Alvaro Morata.
Now when all seems bleak, the now desperate striker has gone all Rambo on his former best friend: the media.
He posted an instant response to a media house that just repeated what he said much earlier about Madrid being his only choice because of a promise he made to his father bla bla bla.
The striker immediately replied he never said "only" Real Madrid.
