English star returns from injury, gives manager a huge boost

England and Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck has resumed full training after making a full recovery from the knee cartilage injury he suffered in a 2-2 draw with Manchester City last season.

Welbeck has not played for the team since that injury, an injury which made him miss EURO 2016, if his presence would have prevented England from getting knocked out to Iceland is a question for another day though.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger however stated "Danny Welbeck is one week away from completing normal training. To be back in the squad; that will take some time because he wasn't played for a long, long time." Aaron Ramsey and Shkodran Mustafi are other injury worries for the French manager who expects Ramsey back very soon while Mustafi remains out.

Arsenal who made a flying start to the season have been stuttering of late with a defeat away to Everton in their last game summarizing just how much their early season momentum has dropped. Could Danny turn around Arsenal fortunes or are they destined to disappoint their long-suffering fans as always this season? Time will tell.
