Sissoko's Plan Unveiled

For any avid watcher of the English Premier league, the name Moussa Sissoko should not be strange to you. Also, the fact that this strong and huge midfielder has not had a great season should also not be news. He and his Newcastle team are contemplating life in the Sky Bet Championship next season.



Yesterday however, we were made to see the Phase 1 of "Sissoko Unleashed". The Newcastle United midfielder had the game of his life, constantly asking questions of the Portuguese defence and only Rui Patricio's reflexes was able to stop the 26 year old from winning the game for France single-handedly. he was so good that stand-in captain Nani had to shoulder him off the ball just to prove a point. The Frenchman was simply on fire for France yesterday to the extent that there were calls for a drug test to be performed on the midfielder immediately after the game.

While everyone was asking why and where and what was the inspiration behind this display, just a day later, the reason why the man was bent on bulldozing all on his path last night became clear. Newcastle United who are already relegated slammed a £35 million price tag on the box-to-box midfielder, some 9 million more than the amount Manchester United paid for Mkhitaryan. Seems like the fear of championship football is becoming the beginning of very good performances, (don't quote me)

Well, Moussa, if you want to impress, at least don't take somebody's head off.
